"I received my fathers watch yesterday and I could not believe my eyes. The detail you administered in the Bulova restoration is incredible. This watch carries many memories for me and my mother. The look on her face when she saw it was priceless. I know she was taken back to a happy time when my father was proudly wearing the watch she presented him on their wedding day. Terry, you have made a customer for life!"
If you own a mechanical Bulova wrist watch, you own a part of
manufacturing history. The Bulova company was founded by
a 24 year old Czech in 1875 with a goal of creating timepieces
with perfect internal parts uniformity for ease of servicing and
outwardly fashionable designs. His first complete factory was
completed in Biel Switzerland in 1912 and by the end of the first
World War - when wristwatches were the new craze, he offered
a complete line of gents manual wind wrist watches available in
Europe and America. From the early 1900's till the early 1970's
Bulova was a household name and recognized the world over
as a fine jeweled timepiece. If you own such a watch, just holding
it in your hand reveals it's special and graceful qualities. Internally
it was devised and refined so well that with the care it deserves,
it can again prove to be faithful and dependable daily timepiece
for decades to come. This page is dedicated to the great line of
Bulova wrist watches, and my guaranteed Bulova watch repair
and Bulova watch restoration services.
Bulova wrist watches were made popular by two different aspects.
The first being - they were high quality instruments, beautiful in their
appearance and infinitely repairable, and secondly- they were supported
by smart and tasteful advertising. Bulova watches were the first products
to advertise on both radio and television. Their print advertising budget
was enormous and effective. Watchmakers who were to repair these
great watches were supported by the factory with ingenious parts
replacement systems. Teamwork from engineers, horologists, artisans,
marketers, draftsmen and logistician brought the world continuous
new lines of great timepieces year after year for more than 50 years.
If your Bulova wasn't run over by a road paver or rusted in to a little
brown ball of dust, I'm confident that I restore it to new condition as
I have for many years. Learn more about my safe and guaranteed
vintage wrist watch repair services here - I look forward to working
with you on your antique Bulova wrist watch.
